The Quo virus runs in their family.
So it was kind of obvious that he couldn’t avoid it without suffering some “damage.”
Dad’s CD cabinet was literally ransacked in search of Quo CDs so he could listen to the songs over and over again.
And because that wasn’t enough, of course, he also started playing one of those weird 6-string things… Oh yes, it’s called a guitar.
That’s how it all started and became what it is today… FranticQuo.
It was the wild and untamed era of Status Quo in the 70s and 80s, when they were also known as the “Frantic Four,” that still fascinates him today, and that’s how the name came about… That’s it!

Born a guitarist, he has always favoured rhythm over solo. So what could be more obvious than playing bass?
And when he happened to hear Quo Sounds from a neighbouring rehearsal room and saw an ad for the bass position in the same band, the 4-string fate took its course.
He likes to describe himself as a village mixture of James Hetfield and Lenny Kravitz: hard hitting but always groovy!

He has been part of the band Frantic Quo since December 2023, where he plays the guitar parts of Francis Rossi. He owes his passion for Status Quo to his father, who also introduced him to the iconic green Rossi guitar—first in 2007 at his first concert and later on the live DVD “Just Doin‘ It Live.”
He has been playing guitar since 2009, but at the age of six he heard his brother playing the Live ’77 album in his bedroom and heard the memorable line “Is there anybody out there who wants to rock?” – a moment that set everything in motion.

Knows Quo from the old tube radio and was musically influenced by rock ‘n’ roll and boogie from the Frantic Four.
Active in various bands since the mid-80s with corresponding live and studio experience, primarily with his own blues rock material. Entered the tribute world in 2019.
Also plays in the Pink Floyd tribute band One Of These.
