The pure Status Quo in the Frantic Four line-up - Frantic Quo is very close to the original
When you see the band FranticQuo for the first time, your first thought is: how can it be that two such young guitarists are playing in a Status Quo tribute band? They are far too young to be able to bring the sound and soul of Status Quo to the stage.
But after the first few notes it is immediately clear: the pure Status Quo feeling is swept from the stage in all its power and catapults the audience straight back to the time when Status Quo was the ‘number one rock’n’roll band in the land’.
In FranticQuo’s still young band history, word of the band’s quality has quickly spread internationally in the Quo community.
And so, just over a year after the first gigs in 2023, the band was already on stage together with Richie Malone, who replaced Rick Parfitt on the Status Quo guitar, who passed away far too early.
„The boys did a great job. That was real fun and even if the band hasn’t been together for long, they’re already ready for a trip to England“. What praise from the original band.
Almost two years later, the time had come and the dream of all Frantic Quo musicians to play at a Quo convention in England came true.
And there, too, the spark was immediately ignited and the band delighted fans and organisers with their honest style and brute sound. This was certainly not the last trip to the motherland of Status Quo.
Two Quo-obsessed guitarists, who have been familiarising themselves with the music and sound of Status Quo for years, paired with two experienced musicians on bass and drums – the result is an explosive mixture.
Frantic Quo bring the rock’n’roll of Status Quo to the stage in its purest and most original form.
